TEACHING

Kenny has been teaching dance to students and professional dancers in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

 

His teaching methods and tailor-made contents have led his students to outstanding achievements and awards. During his stay in Taiwan he was the Artistic Consultant and dance teacher at the Chinese Arts Dancing Ensemble from 2011-2013. In the Taipei National Student Dance Competition in 2013, his students won three out of four district champions as well as the national champions for both Contemporary Dance and Chinese Dance categories. Such great accomplishment has built his name across the city.

Upon his return to Hong Kong, Kenny has led the dance team of Diocesan Girls' School since 2015, during which they have won the Choreography Award. He also held workshops for professional dancers and dance lovers at Hong Kong Dance Company, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, Unlock Dancing Plaza, Billy Chan Dance Concept and Studiodanz. He also served as dance instructor for school tours organized by the West Kowloon Cultural District (Screendance Programme) and the Hong Kong Arts Festival.

Kenny currently offers workshops to professional dancers and students on Contemporary Dance, Improvisation Technique, and Body Awareness.
