The battle is not rehearsed, yet everyone is completely indulged in the wonderful effect of the present moment. It further makes the audience to contemplate whether they are watching a “battle” or not.

"Battle-Or-Not" is a dance battle, resulted from a collaborated research project "Project 1on1" between Kenny Leung and Yip Chan (a street dancer) to explore new possibilities of integrating street dance battle with contemporary dance theatre.
This is Kenny's first experiment on the concept of "Battle Theatre", which overlaps a real dance battle with a designed theatre show. Dancers takes part in a Non-Genre Experimental Battle, express their own styles and body language. Battle Theatre creates a new form of viewing theatre performance, striking both dancers and the audience a new immersive experience.
